I've just pushed an update to github.com/google/iosched that includes:
• Updates for the final Android 5.0 SDK, including removing all the product flavor cruft
• Use of AppCompat and android.support.v7.widget.Toolbar to bring more #materialdesign to pre-Lollipop devices
• Updated navigation drawer layering
• A bunch of other little (and big) UI updates throughout, including a new, experimental session detail screen layout, and stronger topic color branding in Explore
The updates around AppCompat in particular should be really interesting to those of you starting to update your Android apps with material design!
Note that we haven't (yet?) pushed an app update to Google Play.
